Saw a nice Beetle convertible at the VW dealer today, black with red interior. I love this combo (just like my old Rabbit GTI) and I love a red interior on almost every car.

However, the inverse combination just looks plain weird, at least to my eye:

Not a bad list, but beige needs to go ahead of black and grey IMHO. And where’s the blue? And green?

Save the automatics - irony, right? I’m just jealous that in Canada you can get manuals on more than just the base models like we get stuck with in the US, if we can get a manual at all. I had to chose the base ‘Sport’ trim to get a manual in my Mazda5, whereas you can get a top-of-the-line Grand Touring version with a manual...

Me too, my Abarth is Campavolo grey with red leather interior, my DS4 has charcoal and red leather, including an aluminum and red gear stick nob. My favourite ever was the silver Alfa GTV v6 one of my friends had, silver exterior with red leather interior, was a stunning (if somewhat flawed) car, he currently has a black 14 M135i with red leather!
